Billy Bob's Dairyland

We went here 9-years ago on a recommendation from a local. That time it was a diner by a gas station. They have a new modern location on the 76 strip but not a whole lot more seating than our first trip. The place was packed ... our options were to wait for a table, sit at the counter or a table with stool seating . The manager wanted to make sure the stools weren't too high for my wife. The burgers were thick and juicy. The fries were a crinkle cut that were cooked more like a shoestring cut. The wife loved her orange freeze shake. It is cash or check only, no credit cards. There is an ATM if you need cash. We waited for our check until a server told us it was already at checkout. Hopefully it won't be another 9 years before we make it back

Excellent place for all time! Mr. Billy Bob is phenomenal and a wonderful man! You must try this restaurant out. It rocks!

Went here just cuz we wanted a burger and Billy Bob's seemed like a fun name. WOW! The best burger I've ever had! My husband and I wanted to split a burger and ordered a double...thinking their burgers would be like fast food burgers. Nope. The meat was fat and delicious and a half of a Billy Bob burger was more filling than a fast food regular burger. The ambience is 50's and it's small, but food came out quickly. Try the shakes and malts too. Amazing!

My husband and I like going to diners and this one did not disappoint. It's a cute little diner that looks like it's from the 50's. When we got there there were plenty of tables, but by the time we finished they were packed. Very popular place to eat. They only accept cash or checks, no credit cards. They do have an ATM on site if you don't have cash, I got a burger and fries. The burger was huge and really juicy. It was so hot it was hard to hold, I was so full from the burger I ate very few fries. The fries could have been cooked a little longer. I prefer really crispy fries and these were soft. They tasted good just not crispy enough for me. My husband started with a banana shake. He loved it. Lots of banana flavor. He then got a Frito chili pie for lunch. He assumed it would be small. It was also big. He said he probably wouldn't eat it all since he wasn't very hungry, he ended up eating all of it because it was so good. The staff were amazing, very fast and friendly. We really enjoyed ourselves.

On the Branson strip...this place does a pretty good job with dairy-dell type food selections. Hamburger: Pretty good tasting flat-top cooked burger. The burger itself, is a good tasting burger used...with a good touch of salt. Patty Melt: Again, a good patty melt representation. Tots: You get the salt on these and they're a great tot. They did good (in) getting a better cook on the tots. Chili: (Not) my favorite as I recall. Yes, I've eaten boatloads of chili in my life. So...There are better choices. If you're in the mood for this kind of food, you'll like this place just fine.

We introduced Billy Bob's to family who'd never visited before. They agreed the burgers were some of the best they'd had. And, at a half-pound each there was enough burger to halve and be satisfied, especially with fries. Friendly and engaging staff contributed to another good experience--enough so that some family went back the next day for another lunch.
